Sick Policy

Kids get sick, we get it. They should stay home and get better! 

We happily offer make-up classes if you purchased monthly or semester-based classes and prior notice of the absence is provided. Your child may attend another scheduled class as a drop-in during the same month/semester in which they are enrolled. We do not offer make-ups or refunds if we receive no notice of an absence or notice after the class has started.  

Excessive sick days (more than three) are exempt from this policy and will be billed according to your enrollment package.

If your teacher is sick and cannot hold class, notification will be sent as soon as possible via email and text. In the case of studio closure due to teacher illness, we will make every effort to reschedule your child's classes. If we cannot reschedule, a refund will be provided for the missed class. 

Cancellations &  Refunds

Class Packs & Monthly Classes

You may request to cancel your Class Pack, Monthly enrollment, or Semester for a full refund, up to 24 hours before the date and time of the first class. Requests must be made in writing. Cancellation requests received after a class or semester begins will receive a prorated refund.  You shall not be charged after a cancellation.

Drop-in Classes

To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least one hour before the start of class. Alternatively, you may keep your class to be used at a future date specified at the time of cancellation. 

We do not offer make-ups or refunds if we do not receive notice of cancellation or notice after the class has started. 

Camps

To receive a full refund, you must provide notice of cancelation at least one week before the start of the camp. Due to the limited space available in our camps and the preparation that goes into creating a week-long, full-day art experience, cancelation requests received after that date will receive a 50% refund. We do not offer refunds for cancellations received when camp begins or after it has started. We do not offer refunds or make-up days for camp absences due to illness.

Studio Closures

We live in a crazy world (hello, COVID). If, by our judgment, it is deemed necessary to close the studio to maintain the health and safety of our students, their families, or ours, or the health of the larger community, we reserve the right to do so, with or without notice. Reasons for closure include but are not limited to acts of God, terrorism, war, public health threats, earthquakes, severe weather, and fire threats. In the case of closure, no refunds will be issued. We will, however, make every effort to reschedule your child's classes but do not guarantee a one-one replacement for missed classes. 

When you register and/or purchase classes at Dancing Crayons Workshop, LLC, you agree to all of these terms.
