After School Art
In this regularly scheduled weekly art class, artists meet in our low-key home-based studio to paint, sculpt, draw, print, sew, and more!
After-school art classes are age-based and designed to spark your child’s inner creative spirit by exploring new art materials and techniques. We learn about historical and contemporary artists and how art is a language that helps us better understand ourselves and the world around us.

The Kinetics
Welcome to The Kinetics! Here, we set the stage for creative exploration through storytelling, book readings, puppets, and more. Our littlest artists love exploring diverse art materials in this weekly morning class, and we love watching their faces light up while encouraging sensory play and child-led learning.
Our process-based art station format allows artists to follow their curiosity while offering many opportunities to experiment with new materials and do what toddlers do best: play!
(Walking- Age 2, Caregiver participation required)
Camps
Every summer, Dancing Crayons Workshop offers a camp experience like no other. Theme-based and outrageously fun, art camps at Dancing Crayons mean friendships, play, mess-making, and a WHOLE LOT OF ART!
Art camps are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and taught in our home-based studio. They are casual and welcoming for artists of all skill levels. The week-long format allows artists to tackle bigger projects that explore everything from large-format art to stop-motion animation, painting, collage, photography, woodworking, clay projects, screenprinting, and everything in between.

The Expressionists
Expressionists—is there any better term to describe preschool-aged artists?! We love meeting these exuberant creators exactly where they are. Feelings and joyful curiosity drive our weekly themes and process-based projects keep our hearts connected to the journey.
Often accompanied by book readings, stories, and connections with nature, each class encourages artists to explore art materials and the world around them while building essential gross and fine motor skills, focus, and regulation.
(Ages 3-5, Caregiver participation optional)
Homeschool Classes
Expand your homeschool curriculum with a weekly art class! Dancing Crayons Workshop offers a flexible class structure to allow small groups and families to participate in art education that meets their needs. Projects are tailored to your students' ages and abilities, and if needed, we are happy to provide instruction that coincides with other topics in your homeschool classroom.
