We tried to anticipate your questions but if we missed one, please feel free to reach out to us!
Parents and guardians are not required to stay with their children during art class, though you are welcome to observe if you’d like. All we ask is that you let the kids make and explore on their own – this is their time to let their imaginations run wild! We always keep a pot of coffee at the ready for parents who want to take a little break of their own.

We would be completely honored to have you share our images, all we ask is that you ask first and provide a link back so we receive credit for all the hard work we put into our lessons. For lessons posted with instructions, we provide social media friendly, downloadable PDFs for your convenience and ask that you not copy and paste.
Kids get sick, we get it. They should stay home and get better! We happily offer sick day make-ups for students enrolled in our Afterschool Art semesters. Your child may join another regularly scheduled class during the same semester to catch up on missed studio time. Because we plan and prep for all students, please provide as much notice as possible. If we receive no notice or notice after the class has started, a make-up class cannot be offered. Sick day make-ups may only be used during your child’s current semester and do not roll over to future semesters. Make-ups are not offered for drop-in classes or students enrolled in 4-Week Workshops.
Drop-In Classes (in-person and online): Cancellations received at least 30 minutes prior to the start of class will receive a full refund. No refunds are offered after this time.
Semesters: Cancellations received at least 48 hours before the start of the first class will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the start of the first class will receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after the start of the semester will receive a prorated refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
4-Week Workshops (in-person and online): Cancellations received at least 48 hours before the start of the first class will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the start of the first class will receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds are offered after the start of the session due to the nature of the classes (small class size and structured content).
We hate cancelling class as much as you do, but sometimes, it happens! Here’s our policy if it does.
If classes are cancelled due to an unplanned teacher absence/illness, all attempts will be made to reschedule the class. If this is not possible, at your request, you will receive credit toward a future classes.
If, by our judgement, it is deemed necessary to close the studio to maintain the health and safety of our students, their families or ours, or the health of the larger community, we reserve the right to do so, with or without notice. No refunds will be issued, however every attempt will be made to make-up missed classes. If this is not possible, you will receive credit to put toward future classes. Reasons for closure include but are not limited to acts of God, terrorism, war, public health threats, earthquakes, severe weather, fire threats, studio damage, and severe illness or injury.
When you register for and/or purchase classes at Dancing Crayons Workshop, LLC, you agree to all of these terms.
Life happens, we get it. We have children who go to school and also get snotted all over on a regular basis. Odds are, they’re going to get sick eventually. Every enrolled student is allowed to attend our open studio hours for the duration of their missed class. Open studio hours are held twice a month (usually). Please consult the calendar for the date that best suits your schedule and let us know.
